Leaning back in his desk chair, his hand on the mouse of his computer he turned on his speakers while the classes were switching- putting on his artist of the week. This week the artist of the week was Nirvana and the song of the day was Smells Like Teen Spirit. A lot of his students liked the fact that he played music that they had more of a chance of being into, obviously since they all thought he was 'young'. Standing up he went to stand out the outside of the door until the bell would ring so he could start class. He wasn't a teacher that wasted a lot of time, but he didn't make it so strict that the students would hate him and dread his class. His ears caught a lot of conversations at once, some girls were gossiping about their boyfriends or other girls some of the guys were talking about watching a football game this weekend, or talking about the one that had passed the weekend before. He crossed his arms lazily across his chest leaning against the door frame, still as a statue- moving his eyes or looking around ever so often so he didn't look like a statue.

He wore a dark violet button down shirt today, with black pants and dress shoes. Teachers always seemed to have to wear nicer attire, this was nice enough. His hair hung in his face a little, flipping it out of his eyes and sighing he looked to the clock in his classroom before counting that in about 42 seconds the bell should ring. Most of his students were already sitting down in their desks by now, some were still coming in. Jason's room was in the music room, he had the standard desks, he had 25 desks and then the rest of the room was covered in various instruments and such. The bell rang and he waited seven seconds before walking into his classroom, "Good afternoon." He spoke as he faced the students, counting the number of students that were there so that he would be able to take roll, in the moment after he'd finished counting the students replied with their various, "hello's" "hey" "good afternoon" or silences to his statement.

His ears caught the sound of someone texting with their cell phone 'hidden' in their large purse. "Put you're phones away, you're really not as sneaky as you think you are." Jason spoke with a small smirk like smile falling onto his lips. He also caught a student whispering "How does he always know?" before he heard her shoving her phone into her purse and setting her purse on the ground at her side. "First, what'd all of you do this weekend?" Jason asked them. He was a rather friendly teacher, his class was laid back but not to the point that no work was ever done- but then again, it wasn't like half the students in this class even wanted to be here, it was just an easy elective. There was an advanced level music class with students that wanted to be in the class. "I went to Seattle." One girl spoke up and Jason gave a small nod, "Shopping huh?" and the girl nodded, seeming to shrink in her seat a little. "You guys aren't so chatty today." Jason said with a small chuckle. "Cat got your tongue?"

A smile of relief appeared on Viola's face as she gracefully strolled out of Spanish. It was slightly ironic how she went from her least favorite class to her most cherished one. Strolling into the class as everyone settled down, she threw Jason a friendly yet dazzling smile. They had met first in class, of course and they hit it off from there. They were friends, which was good since she had only started living in Forks short six months ago. As she settled down in her seat next to one of her friends, she chatted quietly before he started. This weekend had been pretty much like others, hunting at night and finding a few things to fill up her empty schedule. Letting out a soft sigh, she felt much more calm than in her previous class. Spanish had always caused her a bit of tension just because she would much prefer to take something that wasn't as boring. Unfortunately for her though, Forks was too small to offer a wide variety of electives that she would like to be in.

Viola stopped chattering by the time he had started talking. Her pale blue eyes were fixed on him as she listened to the replies of the other students. A humored smile played on her pale lips as she saw a handful of girls passing notes and texting. Most of them only took music for an easy grade, but not in Viola's case. She loved music. Although she wasn't the best at singing, she loved it with a passion. Ever since she was human, she had loved it. At a young age she had learned how to play piano and the violin. It was an escape from her reality that made her feel calm, like all of the other artistic medians she used. As the other students chattered quietly about their weekends, she brought her eyes back down to her pale hands that were folded in her lap. Although she was used to it, her hands looked white as snow against her dark-wash jeans. The majority of the residences of Forks had no clue about what kinds of creatures were lurking among them. This made her smile, but she was grateful that it was still a secret.

As Jason Mr. Levito asked how their weekend was, Viola's face contained a sly smile. "Mine was quite the normal and uneventful weekend." she said in a familiar tone over the chattering of the rest of the class. She had to try her hardest not let the grin that was waiting to break through appear on her face as she got thrown confused looks. They didn't even have a clue. As she averted the looks of her peers, she looked downward upon her planner and flipped it open to the date. She did this just as an excuse for everyone to quit staring. Taking in breath of fresh air, she wrote down what assignments she had for classes. A grimace appeared on her face as her eyes met with the project she had to do for Spanish. Think on the bright side Viola thoughtAt least its not due until two weeks from now. Viola shut her planner and looked back up. She decided to put her negative thoughts about Spanish aside for later.

His eyes traced over each face in the classroom and he gave a small laugh at a few of the girls that were still staring at him like he was the greatest thing they'd ever seen. He was used to it though, all vampires were. He looked to Viola as she spoke and raised his eyebrows. "Uneventful?" Jason asked almost sarcastically. He slipped in a small smile that was gone just as quickly as it came, turning his back to the students he grabbed a whiteboard marker and took the cap off of it writing "Scale Quiz friday." Before he turned to face the class again. He was met with groans, sighs and various other notions of dissaproval and resentment. "Yeah I know, complain and hate me later but we have to do it- all of you had to have learned at least something this past semester." Jason said with a shrug.

He recapped the marker and walked the acoustic guitar he kept behind his desk, reaching for it and holding it with one hand balancing the bottom on the top of his shoe. "Since it's monday, we have a new artist of the week." Jason said pulling at a few of the guitar chords, his eyes landed on Viola and he flashed a smile to her before looking at the class as a whole. "This week we have Nirvana, and the song was-" He pulled his guitar into a playing stance and started to play the song. "Smells like Teen Spirit- which none of you have." Jason said with a large sarcasm lingering off of his words. He placed three fingers over the string to silence the guitar before he set it on his desk. "This week is going to be an easy week, since you have a Scale Quiz friday, you have the whole week to learn the four scales that I individual assigned to each of you, and do whatever you want. What I don't want to see is all of you dicking around and talking, talk after class about your boyfriends or football, or talk while doing your scale, as long as you know the scales."

All the students already knew by now that this meant they were free to do whatever they wanted until the bell rang, they had instructions to work on their scales and learn them but most of them wouldn't care and would just talk about this and that. "Viola, can you come up here?" Jason asked over the chatter and noise that errupted from the class.

ooc// omgg this is majorly lame. hahah

Viola took out her thin notebook and a blue pen along with it. As she flipped it open, she let out a forced sigh. Even though she had been a vampire nearly 200 years now, she still had to do these small motions so people wouldn't think she was a statue. At times, she nearly thought she was. She didn't have to fidget or anything, since nothing was uncomfortable for her. It had been such a long time that she'd ever been hurt. Thanks to her indestructible skin. What had previously hurt and tore her fragile skin, now felt like nothing more than something a gentle sweep of a feather. Even though she'd had plenty of time to adjust to the amazingly clear senses, it still amazed her at times. She figured it was just the child that still was inside her still heart.

Viola breathed a sigh of relief as the bell rang. As her classmates, gathered their things, the noise level grew louder. Taking in a deep breath, a grin spread across her face. It was finally the last period of the day. Freedom. Only three days left of the week. Now this week had gone by faster than expected. It might have seemed ironic, but when you never slept it took time that much longer to pass. Especially when you lived alone. Not that Viola didn't quite mind the silence, it was peaceful to her, she wish that she had someone to keep her company through the long nights. Since she was incredibly witty, she had read the majority of the books in her house. So she was constantly searching for new material to read. Another thing that she had picked up that she had been talented at during her human life was music. That was the soul reason she took the class, she was intensely passionate about it.

Viola looked up from her beautiful cursive handwriting on her schedule when she heard her name. The smile reappeared on her pale features as she nodded and walked up to his desk. "Yes, Mr. Levito?" she asked, her musical voice filling the now quiet room. Normally she would call him Jason, but she would really hate for her peers to find out that she was closer to him than they had thought. As she searched his eyes for the answer, she quickly looked out the window. It was still cloudy. Perfect. The rain that collided softly with the glass made her feel a bit excited. She loved the rain. Not only because it sheltered her secret, it also made her just want to go out and wonder out in the woods forever. She had always been a lover of nature.

ooc;; haha. it'll get better =p

He sat back into his chair, trying to get as far away from the students as he could... he could literally feel his senses going wild and his thirst screaming and demanding the blood of the teenagers in the room with him. The teenagers that were less than ten feet from him. He ceased breathing but mimicked the movement of breathing and reached for his acoustic guitar and began playing it, black eyes flickering to and from the clock on the wall waiting for all the students to leave the room, waiting for every one of them to exit save for Viola. The last period of the day was his planning period, so he would shut the door after the human students left so he could speak to Viola. He stood up and quickly shut the door, locking it he looked to Viola as he walked back to wards the first desk in the center at a human pace.

"I'm quitting." Jason said straight away his eyes, onyx orbs that screamed in thirst and a near fury, landed upon Viola. "I feel like I can no longer preserve human life- and until I can control myself, I am going to stay away from humans." He closed his eyes and a strangled hiss fell from his throat, his jaw tightened and the monster within him screamed at the scent of human blood as he smelt it again. "I thought you might like to know." Jason spoke with what seemed to be a forced voice, a voice he forced to sound calm. He was not calm, he was a reckless, uncontrollable demon. He wanted to kill and that was all, and his voice would show that- his eyes showed it, his demeanor should have easily been able to show it if he weren't trained at hiding all emotions.

His eyes fell onto the window as they opened slowly, watching as the drizzling rain slid down the window and the patter of the tiny droplets soothed the wind, calming it. This drizzling only reminded him of when he had killed the most recent human, when Jasper just had to come- had to try to calm him. He forced a small sigh and shook his head, "Twenty years without breaking, and now four humans are dead because of me..." Jason was truly a very masochistic man, as a human it was how he was. He was troubled with mental illnesses, and it was more then obvious that mental diseases could cripple a vampire as well. Jason was proof of it. "I can write you a pass to your next class, unless you want to go to it now." Jason stated randomly, an obvious hint that he didn't want her to leave. He looked back to her and his eyes landed upon her lips first, memorizing her face before landing on her eyes. Flipping black hair out of his black eyes, his eyes would usually mirror the blue in hers. Though hers were a pale blue, his were an icy and frozen blue.

Why was he thinking of her so fondly? He didn't understand, and he didn't like it. He didn't want to act on what he was thinking, what he had always thought since he met her- though at the same time, he always wanted to act on his first impulse. He looked away to the window, shaking his head and a small, yet forced chuckle drifted from his pale, thin lips.

As Jason mentioned that he was quitting, Viola's eyebrows furrowed in confusion. The minute she saw his onyx eyes, she understood. He had really broken. As drew in a sharp breath to protest, she decided against it. She had learned from experience that arguing with someone in a state like Jason was in was practically hopeless. Instead of making him even more angry and what not, she gave him a sympathetic look. "I wish you wouldn't...but you must do what you need to." she said, her voice sounding more mature than it's usual eighteen-year-old consistency. As he continued, she realized how much despair he was in. She wanted to help him, she just wasn't quite sure how. As she watched his tense movements, she heard the bell ring. She didn't really want to go to her next class anyways.

"Of course, I can't stop you but if you need any help, I'm here." Viola said nodding softly as she ran her slim fingers against the wooden exterior of the desk. That was the one thing that she was the best at, comforting others. It might have seemed odd coming from a vampire, but that was exactly was what she had been gifted in. As she continued to watch him with a calm look in her pale eyes, she thought of what could have caused this. Her sharp mind brought up a memory about a conversation about him telling her about his faint human memories. He had mentioned being a masochistic man. As this new reason surfaced, she looked back at him.

Viola didn't want him to leave. Even though it was likely that she'd still be able to see him after he quit, it wouldn't be the same. As she let her hand rest at her sides once more, she realized what he thought he was;; a monster. Instead of arguing, she decided to just play it safe and be supportive. His eyes were the same shade hers had been a few days ago, icy and dark. Something the two of them had in common was the color of their eyes. Both a pale blue color when well full and a dark icy blue when thirsty. Jason was the only other vampire that had the same color of eyes that she had ever met. The rest had either a liquid topaz or crimson. She had been accustomed to being complemented and question many times on her unique eyes.

Viola noticed him glancing over her face, in a fond manner. The two had an attraction that was fairly strong, but they had never really acted upon it. As her gaze followed him, she raised one eyebrow when he shook his head and chuckled softly. "What’s so funny?"she asked, curiously. As she gazed out the window all she saw was the familiar forest in the distance through the rain-splattered glass. Maybe he was just acting this way to get her attention? He already held it firmly in his icy grasp. Ever since she had met Jason, she felt an attraction to him. Not just physically, but because they had a few things in common. Like music, for instance. Viola had an intense passion for music, even through the ever-changing music scene of the current day. She had been captivated by how different music was now compared to before she had been turned. Never in her life had she expected to be so fond of music that she would have found offensive in her youth. Times changed, and so did she.

"I'm always the weak one. The one that tries to be so god damn strong- I'm always the one that fucking breaks." Jason snapped when Viola mentioned that she would always be there if he needed help. "I'm always the weakness among everyone." His jaw tightened in a fury that he couldn't control and he turned away from Viola, sharp tense movements causing the air to chill around him, his movements alone could send chill up a humans spine and across their skin. Jason drew in a sharp breath, cringing lightly at the fire that ripped through him because of it. His grip on his desk was so strong that the wood was splintering and a hole was coming through it.

Anger- it was his downfall. His temper was one of the things that he could not control at all. When he lost his temper, all hell could easily be broken lose. That would explain one reason why he cheated his diet, the reason why he returned to his natural instinct as a murderer. Closing his eyes in a furious attempt to calm himself Jason's jaw clenched tight once again. "This time I don't want to leave." Jason growled, his voice was strained and Viola would no doubt catch onto that. "There is something different about Forks that I like, and I don't want to go but now I have no choice." Everytime before now, everytime that Jason had up and left a place he'd always had a choice. He always could have stayed but he never did, he always made the choice to leave because he wanted to. This was the only place that he had ever been so 'upset' about leaving.

His breathing calmed and his body became less tense and he opened his eyes, looking over his shoulder. "Come with me." He stated, turning his body so that he faced her, a crooked almost flirty smile perched upon his lips. "Before now, I used to love to be alone. Now, I love being in your company." He said, his words trying to soothe his anger, his shame, and repair some of his broken pride. His words doubled as asking Viola to give him a chance, because now he was done pretending like the attraction wasn't there. Vampires could fall in love, and the question that Jason was presenting Viola with at this moment was if she would try love with someone like him. He wasn't afraid of rejection, though at the same time he knew he wouldn't like rejection... no one would no human nor vampire would.

Viola watched him intently as he went on. She wanted to stop him, but she knew she couldn't. He could barley contain his anger and she was going to risk her own well-being by trying to help him. As if anything could harm her though. Her gaze trailed along on his hand on the desk as she watched the grip tighten. As soon as he mentioned he was weak, her jaw tightened. She hated when he did that. Of course, he was weak, but she didn't like to think of him in that sense. At times she wondered why she felt so compelled to help others and think the best of them. It was just part of her nature that she had carried over from her human life. Or at least thats what she had always thought.

Viola continued to watch and listen to him closely. She could tell that his voice was strained. Was he actually upset about leaving? This took her by surprised. Usually when vampires left their home they didn't feel bad about leaving. Maybe this case was different. As she watched him, she knew that there was some reason for him wanting to stay. It might have been just that this was one of the best places to be able to go out during the day thanks to the cloud cover or something else. As she thought about this, she brought her attention to him. It wasn't hard to keep your cover as a vampire, unless you went on a killing rampage and started acting a bit strangely. She could tell from his icy eyes that he was thirsting. Taking in a slow and shallow breath, she swallowed. Maybe, just maybe, she could help him after all.

Viola let out a silent sigh of relief when he finally became less tense. When he turned to her with a wicked and almost flirtacious smile on his lips it confused her. As he told her he'd like her to come with him, it caught her completely off guard. If her heart was still beating, it would be hammering against her chest. Not long after, she made her decision. A slight smile appeared on her face as she walked gracefully, almost like she was dancing, over to him. She took his pale hand in hers and put on a dazzling smile. "Of course, I will." she took in a breath and looked up at him. It was possible for vampires to fall in love and she was willing to give this a try. Of course it wouldn't be easy, but she really wanted to try. The attraction was there and stronger than ever. "But, you have to agree to have me help you return to normal....or some where close to there." she said, her tone more serious now. No matter how strongly she felt about him, he had to at least try to get himself under control. She knew the impact this might have, so she was prepared for the worst.[

ooc;; its fine. mine's terrible. =/
